Manuscript analysis - a full developmental edit covering pacing, voice, structure and characters - reads your entire book, so it is a much heavier operation than an inline assist and draws on a separate monthly pool. One credit covers 50,000 words and rounds up, so a novella costs one credit and a standard novel costs two. Plan credits reset each month; if you need more, top up with a bundle that never expires.

Common questions
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Once paid plans open you will be able to upgrade or cancel at any time, and changes will take effect at the next billing cycle. Nothing is chargeable during beta.
What counts as an AI assist?
One assist is one inline request to the AI editor - Polish prose, Check structure, Suggest alternatives, Adjust tone, or Tune passage. Free accounts get 5 per day. Creator gets 500 per month. Pro gets 1,500 per month.
Will my book be rejected for using AI?
The bar for proving a human wrote your book is rising: Amazon KDP requires disclosure of AI-generated content, major literary prizes are adding human-authorship rules, and readers increasingly reject books that read as machine-made. gowrite is built for this. It logs every AI assist as you write and tracks how much of your manuscript passed through gowrite's AI, so your finished book carries an AI authorship record - a clear, honest account you can point to when a distributor, prize, or reader asks. It reflects AI used inside gowrite, not text generated elsewhere and pasted in. The AI advises; you stay the author.
What is a manuscript analysis?
A manuscript analysis is a full developmental read-through of your entire manuscript. It covers pacing chapter-by-chapter, narrative voice, story structure, character arcs, your top strengths, and the three things most worth fixing. Because it reads the whole book, it is priced by length: one credit covers 50,000 words and rounds up, so a novella costs one credit and a standard novel two. Creator includes 5 credits a month and Pro includes 25. Plan credits reset on the 1st and do not roll over; bundles you buy never expire. You see the exact cost before an analysis starts.
How does selling work?
gowrite does not sell your book for you and takes no share of your royalties. It builds the files each store requires - print interior, cover wrap, EPUB - and guides you through the upload, so you publish under your own account on Amazon KDP, Lulu, IngramSpark or wherever you choose. Every penny the retailer pays goes to you.
Is my writing private?
Completely. Your manuscripts are only ever visible to you. gowrite does not publish, list or sell your book anywhere - when you are ready it builds the files each store needs and you upload them yourself, under your own account.
